Presenting the check to St. James Santee was wonderful! Reading, helping the kids pick out three new books of their very own, and being with them, that was the very best part of supporting St. James Santee and it’s hard to even describe how wonderful it was. The hugs, the smiles, the joy, it was amazing.
I will be back and plan to stay volunteering. I’m looking forward to seeing the students this year. Finding out about their summer and fingers crossed they enjoyed one of their books! These children make me so happy.
