This year, I’ve had the opportunity to partner with St. James Santee, a Title One school in Charleston County where currently, every scholar is on free or reduced lunch.
St. James-Santee Elementary-Middle School is a rural school on the northern boundary of Charleston County located at 8900 North Highway 17 in beautiful McClellanville, South Carolina, and surrounded by the Francis Marion National Forest. The school is known for its small class sizes and ability to individualize learning to make the educational experience more personal for each student.
I’ve decided that I would like to support the school this year and have set a goal to raise $3,000 to purchase a new book for every student at St. James Santee. As an avid reader myself, reading has helped me manage my stress and I honestly could not imagine a day without a book.
Please consider joining me and supporting the scholars at St. James Santee too. Any contribution would help me on my goal to get every scholar a new book!
